[Hibiki has been barely seen since the virus, and for good reason. Her pregnancy and time to herself made it easy for her to write music and start composing a song for herself.

Setting up the video, she checked the sound and began to play a soft piano music. The lyrics seemed to be focused on a certain someone, but it was kind of sad, and melancholy.

When she was finished, she smiled a little as she started to work on fine-tuning some of the lyrics...]

Seems like it needs a little more work...

Ah sorry Usagi, I was in a mood when I made it. [A very pregnant mood no less.] But I'll try to make a happier song next time.

That's good, at least! I mean, listening to sad songs all the time is no good at all, there's got to be at least a little cheer or you'll start feeling all sad yourself too!

Don't worry I'll make sure it's a happier one next time. It'll be upbeat, no worries about that.

Hehe, then I'll be counting on it! You'll have to serve a special punishment if it isn't! [ not like usagi would actually punish anyone for that sort of thing, it's more a joke.. ]

Oh no, like not being able to eat cupcakes? Say it isn't so! [Hibiki's mostly joking. Not being able to eat Kanade's cupcakes would be a massive punishment for her.]

[selene]

Yeah, that's right! No more cupcakes for a year! [ She wiggles her fingers a little for the effect. ]

Doesn't that sound horrible?

The worst in the world! Take everything, just don't take the cupcakes!

Ohohohoho! [ She laughs. It's pretty over the top, not like Usagi can be subtle about jokes.. or anything.. ]

You now know what you must do to avoid something that cruel, right?

What's that? Oh great and wise Usagi? [Smiling despite herself.]

[selene]

Write a happy and peppy song next time, that's what! [ she giggles. ] Hehe, that's the first time anyone's called me something like this, I got to tell Luna!

You got it! The next song will be happy and fun!

Yeah! Usually they say "crybaby Usagi" or "idiot Usagi" or "good for nothing Usagi".. but this time I'll show them! I've finally being acknowledged!

Yeah you go for it Usagi! Show them what you're made of!

Hehe, don't worry, leave it all up to Usagi-chan!

I did actually. It's a little sad though.

Moody mostly. Due to the pregnancy during the virus.

Oh, is that what happened to you? I'm really sorry, that must have been strange and unpleasant. I just ended up with wings.

Yeah it did. At least I had Kanade to keep me company... And that must have been kind of fun actually...?

That's good. I'm glad you didn't have to be on your own.

It was mostly just a hassle. They were too small to do anything, but too big to really hide, so I had to stay indoors.

I'm glad I wasn't. Even if Kanade was a little kid during that time.

Hm, that's an interesting virus to get hit by. I can't imagine suddenly being a child again. [Setsuna pauses and blinks. Somehow something about what she just said seemed off... Oh well, it was probably nothing.]

Not really. I had to make sure to avoid Hayato and Shun - they're my housemates - since they would definitely think something was up if they saw I had wings.

[considering she HAD been a child, made Hibiki simply just nod.] I can agree, although Kanade looked so cute as a kid...!

Oh I see. They don't seem to be part of the community after all. So you would have to do so.

I'm sure she did. I hope she didn't run into any trouble, though. Turning into a child isn't something you can really hide.

That's right. It can be a little difficult, keeping everything hidden, but so far it's worked well enough. I just hope I'll keep being this lucky in the future.

We had the others covering for us, so it was all right.

Mmm, yeah definitely. I wouldn't want you to have to answer questions you don't need to.

That's really lucky.

It would really be a problem. I don't know how I would even explain any of this to them. [If they could see how friendly she was getting with all of these people, some of them even Precure, it wouldn't go well, even if she was faking it.]

Yeah it was okay. I'm glad it helped.

No doubt. It was hard getting papa to ignore everything.

[Kanade isn't even entirely sure what she's watching. Well, that's not entirely true. She's registering that Hibiki's playing piano and singing. And that it's sounding pretty good.

So why is she crying? She's... not entirely sure. The lyrics are somber, to be sure, but... She wipes at her eyes briefly before addressing her friend, mind racing in the background and trying to parse the lyrics.]

T-that's... pretty good, Hibiki.

[It's a song that would be sung if they were apart. Which they had been for a long time and only recently reunited. So yeah, Hibiki's kind of tearing up as well.]

[Kanade's breath catches in her throat for a moment, but she pulls herself together to answer.]

I think that should be my line. Both of us are kind of helpless by ourselves, huh, Hibiki?
