Physically I'm fine. I got bit but I went right to the doctors. Said that it wasn't even infected.

[stumbling out, Hibiki looks tired, withdrawn. None of her usual energy is there, and her vibrant mane of hair and healthy shine is all but gone pale and limp as she shuffles over and sits down next to Tsubomi.]

You look about as bad as I feel, Tsubomi.

I feel drained. I got separated from Itsuki early on and I ended up going two days non-stop... then... what happened to me...

I'm just so weak right now...

[Hibiki rolled over, sliding under Tsubomi's sheets and wrapping an arm around her.] Sleepover. We can talk while we lay down.

Oh! [Tsubomi scooted over, blushing as Hibiki joined her.] O-Okay...

I well... it's the last event the community made us go through. I wasn't... that is... it wasn't good for Kanade and I.

The whole deal with the zombies..? [ Honestly, it wasn't too great for her either. Even though she tried to help people, she was still scared and there were still people she couldn't help.. she really is a failure as a superhero. ]

What happened to you two? Was it that bad?

[ Her tone is obviously worried. ]

Yeah you could say it was bad...

... Kanade died during that incident. I haven't slept remembering her being dragged into the mob. Least of all having to deal with zombie Kanade either.

[selene]

.. No way.. [ So at least one person definitely died. That's.. no good at all, it really isn't, she should have done something about it. ]

I'm sorry, Hibiki-chan. If I was a little stronger, you guys wouldn't have to deal with something so painful..

I'm still having trouble coping. I just wish it didn't happen...

But you two are back to normal now, aren't you..? Maybe you should do something nice and fun together to cheer up.

I'll have to go talk to her then. See if she's feeling okay enough to do so.

Yes, that's great! [ She's way too optimistic, even about this, but it does sound like it'd be for the best! ]

You should make sure to talk it over, and then quickly change subjects to talk about something fun! Go watch a movie together..!

I will actually. I need to talk to Kanade as soon as possible and then figure out what we're doing.

And then it'll all be okay, right?

I'm hoping so. It would be nice if we got closer because of this.
